Our pillars

What’s Havas Impact+?

The mission of Havas Impact+, our CSR programme, is to encourage our agencies to harness the power of creative ideas through action and communication to bring about positive change in society and help our clients become a force for good.

2018
Grand Prix for Good

We won the Grand Prix for Good in Cannes for the ‘Palau Pledge’ campaign and we received the UN Peace Medal for the campaign ‘Making Friends Across Religions’. This year we also launched the Havas Climate Solidarity initiative, to offset the carbon footprint created by producing campaigns for clients.

2020
Havas Impact+

We launched Havas Impact+, a unique brand structuring our six sustainability commitments around three key pillars: environment, meaningful communication, and people. We also introduced the first multimedia carbon calculator in France.

2021
Reducing our emissions

Committed to the environment, the first step in the Group’s strategy is to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. To this end, we have launched a bold climate strategy aiming to reduce our direct emissions, with an ambitious objective of exceeding the European Union’s target of a 55% reduction by 2030. Ultimately, our ambition is to become the leading communications group on environmental issues by reducing our impact.

ISO 14001 certification

After Spain and the UK, France implemented a performing Environmental Management System (EMS) and obtained the ISO 14001 certification. The ISO 14001 Certification ensures an organisation’s Environmental Management System is compliant with the ISO standards. When an organisation is awarded this certification, it means that its systems are reducing its environmental impact as well as increasing its operating efficiency. The certification is awarded by an external body, and offers assurance to company management, employees, and external stakeholders that a business is conscious of its carbon footprint and is taking concrete action to fight climate change. Recently, 32 French-based entities within Havas Group have been awarded this certification. These join 35 additional global entities who have been certified which means that 28% of the Group is now operating under the standards of the ISO 14001 certification.

B Corp certification

Three Havas Group agencies have achieved B Corp certification: Havas London, Havas New York, and Havas Lemz in the Netherlands.
